Home Visits

Remember, if you have an urgent problem we can usually see you more quickly if you attend the surgery, with more equipment to hand. However we can visit you at home if your condition means that you are unable to attend the surgery. The duty doctor may speak with you to assess the urgency of the problem.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
