We are a training practice which means each year the regular doctors are joined by fully qualified doctors completing their post graduate training in General Practice.
Occasionally medical students and student nurses will be sitting in with both GPs and Nurses. If you are not happy for the student to be present please inform the clinician before the consultation begins.
Every four months the surgery will close between 12.30 and 4.30pm for the whole practice team to take part in training and education sessions. During that time another practice will take care of any emergencies that may arise—on phoning the surgery you will hear a recorded message advising you of their phone number. Posters warning patients of this afternoon closure will be placed around the surgery in plenty of time.
